Abstract:
Globalization has profoundly influenced India’s economy since the liberalization reforms of 1991. While it has driven economic growth, attracted foreign investment, and integrated India into global markets, its impact on poverty, unemployment, and inequality remains contentious. This research paper examines the multifaceted effects of globalization on these socio-economic dimensions, highlighting both the opportunities it offers and the challenges it poses. The paper also explores policy interventions needed to mitigate its adverse effects and ensure inclusive development.
